The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
