19 of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been achieved on hardcourt
A comeback Medvedev secured his initial championship for 882 days with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult season, achieving just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the American major.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in specific - led to him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with long-term coach Gilles Cervara.
Now working with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested competitive win over Frenchman Moutet.
It is his initial championship since the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface since that period of the previous year.
The win also indicates he has achieved twenty-one victories at twenty-one different competitions.
"For the first time I have attended a tournament with my both daughters simultaneously, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," stated world number 14 the champion.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter her name, because the first title I got when my child my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his last six title deciders, comprising in that event previously this season.
The player's defensive approach and regular outbursts on the tennis court had prompted observers to question if his ability to perform at the highest level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and perform assertively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult opponent, securing four of the last five exchanges to take the lead.
The competitors traded service breaks in the second set before the challenger, striving for his initial ATP Tour title, took control to force a decider.
He defended 4 early-game break points in a close deciding set before the Russian won the break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, the winner earned victory with a shot at the net area, with his opponent unable to manage a return after a lengthy match.
